Step 1: Select the 'Library Items' Tab from your toolbox

Step 2: From the dropdown list choose the effects library you want to add an item from

Step 3: Click the 'Add Item' button

Step 4: Choose the effect you want from the new drop down list

Step 5: Click anywhere on the (grey) artboard to refresh the banner
